Over many years Judi provided so much inspiration to young girls and women as a teacher and school principal.

Judi has spent a lifetime in education, firstly as a teacher but mostly as school principal. The panel maker first met her at Samuel Marsden School in Wellington, where she worked as School Nurse and Judi was the principal of the Junior School. 

Judi had a strong impact on the young girls there – encouraging them to grow in confidence, make sound decisions, and ‘to be their best’. Judi moved to Auckland to be nearer family and continued as Principal of the Junior School at Kristin. After retiring from Kristin, she has been headhunted to other prestigious schools throughout Auckland. 

With over 50 years of teaching experience, she is still in demand and still imparting her wisdom, both in education and empowerment of girls under her care. Judi is seen to be a tireless supporter of 21st century women’s suffrage!
