Anna Marie arrived from Prussia with her family and settled in Bunnythorpe. The service record of her son, Robert Hunt, states that Anna Marie was born in Posen, Germany (now Poznan, Poland) about 1868.

She was in Bunnythorpe when she signed the suffrage petition and enrolled to vote in 1893 and 1896.

She died in 1945 in Upper Hutt. 

Her great-great granddaughter says Anna Marie was married three times.
