Georgina was born in Blairgowrie in 1858 and was named Georgina Menzies Rachel Strachan. She married William Falconer in 1877 and raised 14 children. William Falconer’s diaries can be found online.

Georgina was well known in the Catlin’s for her midwife activities and assisting the resident Doctor Stenhouse as a nurse too many of the mothers in the district. 

Georgina died in 1933.
