Jessie Finch signed sheet 118 and gave her address as Milton. She seems to be part of the large extended Finch family which lived in the Milton district. She may have been the Jessie Finch (nee McGrouther) who was born around 1855 and married George Finch in 1876. They had eleven children between 1877 and 1897. 

Margaret Finch also signed sheet 118, and a Margaret Stain married George’s elder brother, John Finch, in 1864 and had ten children between 1865 and 1884. 

Another Milton signatory on the same page was Helen Finch; she gave her occupation on the 1893 Electoral Roll as ‘Wife of John Finch’ and she may have been George and John’s stepmother as their father was also called John and their mother Elizabeth died in 1877.
